Midlands maps and GPS files

The Midlands is greener than you might think, with 25% of the West Midlands region lying within the Peak District Northern Park. At the other end the Cotswolds provide hilly challenges in beautiful pastoral countryside.

The table below has a list of some of the audax events in the Midlands, along with an interactive map showing the route, and a gps file to download. You can use the map to get an idea of where a route goes, and scroll in and out to see more detail. The GPS files are free to download, and are in GPX and Memory Map mmo file.

Bear in mind that some events change every year as a matter of course. The route here from 2007 might not be the same in 2008. Permanent rides are also occasionally updated, so if you plan to use these files when riding, make sure you check them against the route sheet when it arrives.

If you have a GPS file of an audax event or permanent ride that you'd like to share, feel free to drop me a line, and I'll be sure to post it here.

To download the gpx files, right click on the link, and select "save file as".
